Our story
A Durham scaffolding firm built on repeat work
Trade Access Scaffolding was established in 2010 on house roofs and extensions around Durham and has grown into a team that main contractors, housing associations and facilities managers ring first. The owner still prices every job and is on site more days than not.
Recent contracts include access for solar panel installation at more than 180 car dealerships for Vertu, planned maintenance for Bernicia housing, new build work with FI Construction, a fixed structure for Vivarail's train carriage build and a lifting design for an IKEA roof.
Most of our work still comes from people who have used us before, or were told to by someone who has.

CHAS accredited, CISRS Part 2 and Advanced trained, £10m public liability. Every scaffold is inspected and tagged before handover.
On time
You get a date and we keep it. Erections and strikes are planned around your trades or your site programme.
Tidy
Gardens, drives and pavements left as we found them. On commercial sites, a clean handover with the paperwork in your file.

Our yard
Stock held at New Herrington, on the edge of Durham
Our yard at New Herrington Industrial Estate, Houghton-le-Spring, DH4 7BG holds tube, fittings, boards and system scaffold, so most jobs in County Durham and the North East can be on site within days. The A1(M) and A19 are minutes away, which is how we cover Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Borders without the delays.
Contractors who run their own gangs can also hire or buy equipment from the yard.
